My house is in La Gaude, a small medieval village at 20 minutes west by car from Vence & east from Nice airport and the sea.
My house is in a residential area, at 15 minutes on foot from shops such as grocery, bakery, pharmacy, doctors, take away shops (pizza, Chinese food, salads, chicken…) … and also at 15 minutes on foot along a charming pedestrian walk through the woods from the picturesque Provence village of La Gaude dating from the middle-age and which has kept all its authenticity and soul.
There are non expensive and very good local restaurants and bus stops at 10 minutes on foot as well as a cycling lane. The buses (1 each hour, 4 per hours at peak time) go to the largest shopping mall on the Riviera (Cap 3000), Nice, the beach, the train and bus station where guests can catch a local or long haul bus or a train to anywhere,…
The house has a beautiful shaped pool which has been enclosed according to the latest safety law. It stands on a large estate of 2950 sqm (about 0,70 acres) with many Mediterranean oaks and a few olive trees. Another advantage of my house is that the land is flat; making a large yard/garden area.
There is a nice view including Cap d’Antibes sea view partially hidden by trees in summer.
It has all what you can look for, close by typical medieval village, walking access to shops, restaurants…, exposed stone, timber beams,garden, terrace, pool, Provence mountain character.
The upper part is 190 sqm (roughly 1900 sq feet). There are:
- a 40 sqm family room with an open kitchen,
- a 40 sqm living room with large bay windows, a fireplace, and wooden beams,
- a master bedroom (18 sqm) with a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet,
- an independent toilet.
- an adjacent 17 sqm laundry room.
In the attic, there are 4 more bedrooms in the style of a chalet (sloping ceiling, beams, wooden panels) and a bathroom:
- a bedroom with a king size bed,
- a bedroom with a double bed,
- a bedroom with twin beds,
- a bedroom with a single bed (note that it has to be crossed by to access another bedroom), it is possible to add a second single bed.

La maison se trouve dans un quartier résidentiel de La Gaude, à 10 minutes en voiture de Vence, de la mer et de l’aéroport de Nice.

La maison est sur un terrain plat arboré de 2950 m2 planté de chênes Méditerranéens et d’oliviers. Environ 1500 m2 enclos sont réservé à l’appartement principal.
Il y a une belle vue du Cap d’Antibes partiellement cachée par les frondaisons en été.
La partie principale a une surface de 190 m2 et comprend au rez-de-chaussée:
- une salle à manger de 40 m2 avec cuisine américaine,
- un salon de 40 m2 avec de larges baies vitrées, une cheminée, et des poutres en bois,
- une chambre de maître (18 m2) avec un grand lit (2mx2m) qui peut être séparé en deux lits jumeaux et une salle d’eau avec douche, bidet et WC,
- un WC indépendant avec un lavabo,
A l’étage, il y a 4 chambres mansardées dans le style d’un chalet de Haute Provence (poutres, panneaux en bois) et une salle d’eau avec douche et WC :
- une chambre avec un grand lit (2mx2m) qui peut être séparé en deux lits jumeaux,
- une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux (1mx2m),
- une chambre avec un lit double (1.40mx180m),
- une chambre avec un lit simple (.90mx180m) ou on peut en ajouter un second,
La maison a une piscine qui est sécurisée selon les dernières lois et est réservée à l’appartement principal.
Il est possible de louer deux chambres supplémentaires si nécessaire avec une autre salle d’eau et un WC indépendant.
